What an incredible 24 hours! A huge thank you to our team, everyone who donated, and especially our amazing team captain, Ammy, who not only coordinated the team ahead of the event but personally raised a staggering $3,431, making her the 4th highest individual fundraiser in the entire event!

The numbers speak for themselves: we raised an outstanding $11,893 in total, landing us 4th on the Top Fundraising Teams Leaderboard. In terms of distance, we swam an extraordinary 74.05km, more than any other team across all 21 competing teams. That earned us the Furthest Distance award for the second year in a row!

Our team of 24 included a number of rookies (including members very new to the club), as well as seasoned MS Mega Swimmers, and came from right across all of our four training lanes. Everyone was a part of the success irrespective of previous Mega Swim experience or swimming speed.

Most importantly – everyone had fun!
