Congratulations to Jim Milne for being selected as one of 53 Unsung Heroes from across Australia!

In late 2025, Masters Swimming Australia (MSA) announced that Jim Milne, one of our longest-serving members and Treasurer for incredible 20 years, had been recognised as one of 53 Unsung Heroes across the country as part of MSA’s 50th Birthday celebrations.
Jim is such a deserving recipient. He guidedour club finances for two decades, and in recent years has also been an outstanding advocate of MSV competitions, enthusiastically encouraging every Roughie to “give it a go”!
When Jim “retired” from the Treasurer role, he still made himself available to answer questions, offer guidance, and ensure a genuinely seamless handover to the new Treasurer.
Congratulations Jim, and thank you for everything you have done for our club!
